The Knauf Magazine is a long-standing, beloved tradition for Knauf employees, something they look forward to and proudly show to their friends and family. This tradition has been going on for almost 15 years. In keeping up with the times, as well as listening to staff suggestions on content, we, the team of authors, have come to the conclusion that the magazine needs to change and become even more engaging than before.
This year is a landmark year for Knauf. In our 100-year strategy, we have clearly defined what we want to be in 8 years' time, when Knauf will celebrate 100 years worldwide in 2032. “From a family company to a family of companies” – that's how proud we are of Knauf's global growth and yet still strong alignment with our original values. Our values are like the roots of a tree, the foundation of a house that we build together with future generations in mind. “Make tomorrow a home for all of us” is the promise and the overarching goal that each of us finds in our work every day, and together we are building an environment friendly to future generations.
A company is its employees. Of course, Knauf is also its people. Together, like pieces of a puzzle, we make the big picture, called Knauf. But every now and then it is so interesting and even useful to step back from the big picture to see fragments of the picture that often turn out to be real gems.
