The labour protection regulations stipulate that the employer is obliged to provide training in the field of labour protection and fire safety, while the employee is obliged to comply with labour protection and fire safety measures, and to certify compliance with the mentioned measures with a signature.
In order to make it easier, more convenient and transparent, Knauf introduced the online system Meemo e-work safety, a.k.a. EWS system. In the system, every employee can conduct electronic briefings and tests, ensure the circulation of electronic documents by completing labour protection and fire safety and other documents, as well as fulfil the requirements of the laws and regulations and perform their electronic signature.
Knauf employees who have a company e-mail and a computer can log in and use the Meemo e-work safety system on their Knauf computer. In turn, Meemo e-work safety screens are available for employees who do not have a Knauf computer.
In total, there are eight screens of the Meemo e-work safety system in the premises of Knauf, which can be used not only for learning occupational safety briefings, but also for risk assessment of the workplace and submission of information on observations and recommendations of the working environment, as well as other information related to occupational safety.
The terms of use of the system can be viewed here.
